Internship Opportunity
Since 2006, DOT USA has been working in partnership with Cisco Systems and local school districts to help teachers in Mississippi and Louisiana better utilize technology in the classroom. Since then, the program has expanded to include other partners, including the Recovery School District in New Orleans, Louisiana and the AmeriCorps service program in Mississippi.
For the 2008/2009 school year, DOT USA will be serving more than 80 schools in the following school districts:
Lamar County, Forrest Country, Forrest Agricultural High, Harrison County, Moss Point, Petal, and Hattiesburg districts in Mississippi; and the Recovery School District, New Orleans Public Schools, and Jefferson Parish Public School District in Louisiana.
