ReachUp! goes national
DOT Kenya is now offering the ReachUp! programme in selected community organisations in Nyanza and Western Provinces. 10 young and vibrant young men and women from these provinces were recruited and after a 2 week TOT training, have now been deployed with several partner organisations to offer the ReachUp! programme to other young people.
61 participants have enrolled and are in class at Tuungane’s headquarters in Kisumu. Anne Jaoko, Mark Kisienya and Patricia Oyoyo are the interns based at this centre running 3 different classes. To read more about the Tuungane Youth Project click here…
Mark Omollo shepherds a class of 11 eager participants at the Ugunja Community Resource Centre. Gideon Kato ably facilitates two classes of 15 and 12 participants each at the Sega Silicon Valley and at Sega Youth Polytechnic respectively. Emmanuel Odhiambo is at CADIF Kenya and has a class of 12 participants. Lillian Omollo and Jackson Tiema are deployed at Computers for Schools Kenya's centre located at Ogada Secondary School
In Western province, Judith Nato and Nancy Okiri are based at Masinde Muliro University.
