I am Mentwab Abiy. I am a DOT Ethiopia Intern working with motivated young people in different communities in Addis Ababa. I have a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Social Administration. Working with DOT has given me the opportunity to pursue my passion of working in community development. I believe that what we're doing now does not stop at helping the youth to develop their skills. These youth are a part of the community and will bring development not only for themselves, but also for the communities they live in.

While working in Tselka Education and Integrated Development Association, a DOT Ethiopia partner, I found the community participants to be very eager to change their lives. They are creating opportunities for themselves in order to have a secure future. All they needed from us was some encouragement and guidance. That's what this training has been for them.

The past couple of months have been very educational and inspiring for me and I hope to learn more in the future.
