From 6th to 8th May, 2009, all 35 DOT China Interns and Staffs assembled in Chengdu Phoenix Regalia Hotel In Chain for a 3 days knowledge sharing and professional skills training purpose meeting. During the 3 days, DOT interns successfully sharing their current achievements on courseware design and their experience on helping the teachers in different courses, practicing their communication skills including standard Chinese speaking and inviting senior educational expert to give interns some guidance on educational psychology about how to commnucate with teachers and the mental states of most teachers curently in China. Meanwhile, interesting activities like poetry readings and debating also applied during the meeting which interests the interns a lot.

Catherine Luo also delivered some training on presentation skills and etiquette which get a great responding from Interns. Members from IBM CSC program also sent us three IT senior manager Tom, Murali and Jordan to give our interns some suggestions on the career planning based on their own experience and answered some questions from DOT China Interns.

Also, DOT China set prizes for the best 3 performers in 3 differnet topics. Peng Yang won the best perform in courseware design, Nicole won the best perform in debating and Lintao Zhang won the best perform in poetry reading.

General saying, DOT China achieved a great success in this training, which promoted friendship within the program and also enhanced their educational experiences which may help their work.
