Welcome to the community of practice for Harahan Elementary, a collaborative area where DOT Interns, teachers, and school administrators can communicate, network and share resources about using technology in the classroom.

Special academic programs/focus:  gifted and talented  program, special education, art classes, ballroom dance classes, DARE program

Year school joined DOT USA program: 2007

Technologies currently available at the school: Cisco IP phones in each classroom, two smartboards, 40 laptops, 10 elmos and projectors, MS Office 2003, 2  to 3  computers per classroom, 35 leappads
