The LPB CyberChannel (http://www.lpb.org/cyberchannel) is the digital video on demand section of the LPB's educational portal. This web site contains links to several free videos and podcasts as well as resources for teachers and parents. However, the most well known feature of the CyberChannel is the access it provides to Discovery Eduction streaming, which was previously known as unitedstreaming. DE streaming provides teachers with videos that are aligned to state standards along with supplemental materials.

What Can I Do With the LPB CyberChannel?

The LPB CyberChannel is focused primarily on providing on demand video and audio for your computer. You can use these multimedia resources for a variety of purposes:

• Integrate videos into your lessons.
• Enhance your computer presentations.
• Reinforce concepts covered in previous lessons.
• Provide students with extra resources at school.

How Can I Access Discovery Education streaming?

• Go to the LPB CyberChannel (http://www.lpb.org/cyberchannel)
• If you have a DE streaming account, enter your username and password in the text boxes on the right to log in; if you do not have an account, keep going.
• Enter the school’s code in the text boxes labeled “Passcode.”
• Your technology coordinator should have the code ().
• Fill out all the fields that are marked with an asterisk to register.
• Now that you are registered, you can return to the first step to access Discovery Education streaming.
