ICT-enablement priorities for 2007-2008 academic year:

The Information Communication Technology (ICT) focus for this year has been on enabling the teachers to more effectively communicate with the school community, especially the parents.  To that end the utilization the school's eBoard (http://dolhonde.jppss.site.eboard.com/) has been a major priority throughout the year.  Teachers have learned to post "notes" on the eBoard, and they have utilized it to provide online access to homework, resources for students, class and grade level notices, upcoming events, and field trip pictures.  Additionally, teachers have added events to an online calendar and posted school wide announcements on the eBoard.  Recently, the TeachUp! Intern has facilitated the replacement of the school's traditional and static website with a new, dynamic wiki (http://dolhonde.pbwiki.com/).  All of the content from the previous website has been made available on the school's wiki.  The TeachUp! Intern is currently exploring ways that the teachers and the school can utilize the wiki to complement the school's eBoard.
