TeachUp! Interns are young, tech savvy university and college graduates, aged 21-29, drawn from a wide range of disciplines from liberal arts to computer science and united by a passion for community development through the use of ICTs. Interns provide dedicated, ongoing guidance, encouragement, and skills building to educators as they learn to use technology in their work.
The TeachUp! experience has a profound impact on the personal and professional lives of Interns.
"My whole outlook on the Internship experience was that it was invaluable experience that will help excel my career to the next level. I don't think there would be anything else I could imagine that could replace the training and project management skills that I have acquired from this experience. "Before I applied for this internship, I was at a crossroads in my life. I had already graduated college and did not know if I wanted to go back or try to find a career. This internship has helped me in so many ways. I have discovered that I am a leader and that I can develop and implement projects. I have learned how to manage my time and how to prioritize.
