In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, DOT is helping to rebuild the coastal school districts of Mississippi and Louisiana as the teachers and students adopt new learning technologies and look to promising futures.

Poverty alleviation continues to be a challenge in Ethiopia and DOT is helping disadvantaged Ethiopians, including women, unemployed youth, orphans and trafficked children by introducing essential life, business and technology skills to start new futures and careers and launch new businesses.

DOT works with women, unemployed youth and disabled people in the slums of Nairobi and in disadvantaged communities in western Kenya. DOT's training and internships are creating new hope, opportunities and livelihoods.

The education system of Mexico faces serious challenges as it’s failing to meet learning and outcome goals at the primary level.   DOT is implementing an educational program to support teachers and leverage technology in education to basic and middle schools throughout Mexico.
