StartUp! is a step along the continuum of private sector development. This unique program trains DOT Interns to become business coaches in their communities as they support and encourage community participants who are emerging entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurs, who have an enterprise concept they want to develop, learn business terminology, gain experience in applying ICT to business success factors, make market connections, and access capital by creating realistic business plans.

DOT Interns strengthen their business and facilitation skills, improve their employability and hone their entrepreneurial self-confidence.

StartUp! is contributing to enterprise development in Ethiopia, Kenya and Rwanda.
