Connecting communities and businesses through ICT

In Lebanon, DOT's Connected Community program is training young men and women who are managers of Fouras (Opportunity) Centers in the principles of entrepreneurship and cost-recovery operation. Benefiting from DOT's ReachUp!, StartUp! and ScaleUp! programs, Fouras Center managers are coached in business planning, market analysis and opportunities for revenue generation.

Training and services for women, youth, and marginalized community members

DOT Interns help Fouras Centers develop programs and partnerships to provide training and services to women, youth, unemployed and marginalized community members.

Who Benefits

Fouras Centers, community knowledge centers and local telecenters improve their business practices, local services and sustainability.

Community members receive improved, relevant services appropriate for local needs.

DOT Interns strengthen their business skills, gain important experience and improve their employability.
