This experience has been a great one so far! When I first flew into the city, I didn't see much and thought there were nothing but farms! But after driving into the city and reaching the canal, it was a very lively place. People were running the trails, biking and even canoeing in the canal. I love to do all of these things so that was an eye opener for me. The city is very beautiful and there is a lot to see too. Our breakfast has been amazing and I anticipate it every day.

The city is not the only thing that has been great, but the people that we have meet have been great too. From the board members to the DOT staff to everyone we made our presentations to have been the best! They all made us feel at home and were very interested in what we had to say. You really get to see what DOT is all about and how much of a impact that we are making not only in the United States but around the world. It makes me proud to be in amazing organization.

I have been chosen to make a presentation in Ottawa Canada! This is truly one of the highlights of my life. Being chosen amongst many talented interns is a great honor. We all go into the schools and make a difference in not only the lives of teachers, but the students as well. I will be sure to represent Digital Opportunity Trust USA on behalf of all the interns.

I will be looking forward to meeting the people that help put together this life changing program. And I want to see Canada! Being a capital of technology, I am interested to see how it lives up to that title.

I know that this experience will lead to great things. I cannot wait to get there and be able to tell others about the thing I have learned.
