Yong Wu
My Chinese name is Yong Wu and my English name is Kevin. I graduated from Chengdu University in July, 2008 and I majored in English.
It’s my great pleasure to have been a member of DOT China. Before the internship, I experienced a full-time job. I began my first full-time job as a translator in a Holland company. My daily work was dealing with the translation of some patents. Though it was very boring, I learned so much from it such as some new generic terms. This job also affected my character. I learned to be more careful and patient through my daily work. In October, 2008, I knew DOT by accident. I was very interested in its project in China after having browsing the website. Fortunately, I passed the interview and became a member of our DOT family. I and our group have been working as a DOT intern for about three months. Everyday we are facing new challenges. But we were so happy to meet them because we overcame them every time and we were improved all the time. Now I and our DOT family members are keeping improving ourselves to meet the new challenges.
As for my hobbies, I like football very much. Manchester United is my favorite football club and David Beckham is my favorite star.
To all DOT interns, nobody can know everything but everybody knows how to learn everything. Come on, let’s keep moving.
